We at the National Library of Australia  collect and protect a diverse range of materials—ranging from written, oral, and visual to digital resources—ensuring that future generations of Australians can discover and create new knowledge.

By joining us, you will explore opportunities across the whole Library, from oral history, folklore, photography and public programs, to marketing, IT, pictures and manuscripts, and information management. Completing our program will strengthen your skills and set you up for a successful career at the Library or within the Australian Public Service (APS).

With around 400 staff based in Canberra, we offer an inclusive and flexible workplace that fosters professional growth and work-life balance. 

Locations 

We participate in programs that are located in Canberra. Relocation assistance is available to successful candidates who are required to move.
