About us

We at the Professional Services Review (PSR) agency protect patients and the community from the risks associated with inappropriate practice. We also protect the Commonwealth from the costs of health services provided as a result of this practice.

We operate as an independent agency within the Australian Government Health and Aged Care portfolio. Our work focuses on the Medicare, child dental and pharmaceutical benefits programs. We want to change the behaviour across our health services and maintain their high quality.

Our success comes from the work of talented and supportive people. We are flexible, innovative and committed to the goals of the Professional Services Review and the Australian Public Service (APS).

Locations

Our program is based at Brindabella Park in Canberra. Relocation assistance is available for candidates who need to move to Canberra to take up this opportunity.
