The Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (PM&C) supports the Prime Minister and the Australian Government. 

The PM&C provides policy advice and help coordinate the governments priorities. Our work supports the decisions that improve the lives of Australians.

We are a modern, collaborative, and responsive organisation. Our mission is to improve the lives of all Australians by providing advice and support to government.  

PM&C plays a key role in helping the Australian Government work effectively by:

  • Coordinating policy across government and supporting its delivery.
  • Working with the Australian Public Service Commission to improve the public service.
  • Consulting with government, industry, not-for-profit organisations, and the community.

Locations

PM&C is based in Canberra. Graduates will be based in Canberra for the duration of the program. 

Relocation assistance may be available for successful applicants.
