About us

We are the national regulator of Commonwealth funded aged care services. We work to help safeguard the rights and wellbeing of older Australians. We are responsible for approving providers to deliver Commonwealth-subsidised aged care services. We engage and educate key partners about our functions.

Our vision is for older Australians to trust and have confidence that aged care services. These services protect and enhance their health, safety and quality of life. Everyone has the right to safe, compassionate care. We ensure that people who use aged care services are treated with dignity and respect. 

What we offer

Our program gives you the skills you need to succeed in roles such as service delivery, clinical education, and enabling services. We match your experience to the work across our agency.

By joining us, you will be exposed to the Aged Care sector and ways of working in the Australian Public Service. You will have the opportunity to work with senior leaders and collaborate with various teams across the agency.

Locations

We are offering opportunities in all Australian capital cities. We offer flexible working conditions, including working from home. Relocation assistance may be provided to successful candidates who need to relocate to a capital city.
