Eligibility criteria 

To be eligible for the Digital Stream in the Australian Government Graduate Program (AGGP), you must: 

  • Be an Australian citizen at the time of application. 
  • Hold or be completing a bachelor’s degree (or higher) by December 31, 2024. 
  • Have completed your degree between January 1, 2020, and December 31, 2024. 
  • Be willing to undergo police, character, health, or other checks as required. 
  • Be able to get and maintain an Australian Government security clearance.  

Skills you need

To succeed in the Digital Stream, you should have: 

  • Passion for digital technology and solutions. 
  • Interest in learning and growing your technical skills. 
  • Enthusiasm to work on projects that make a positive impact.

Locations

Most roles are in Canberra, but some positions are available in other states. New APS Academy campuses in Newcastle and Townsville offer more opportunities.
